The talk presents results obtained at Ioffe Institute on laser methods applied for modern biotechnologies and a proposal based on state-of-the-art laser methods and aimed to address several important problems in four closely interwoven research directions at the interface of chemistry, biology, physics, and medicine: (1) real time energy transfer in biologically relevant molecules; (2) decomposition of amino acids isolated in a supersonic molecular beam; (3) live cells and cellular structures morphology and dynamics; (4) quantum magnetic sensors for bio-structure analysis.
