Abstract
In the scope of this presentation will be given an overview about the main use cases of electrochemical energy storages (mainly lead-acid batteries and lithium-ion batteries) in the low voltage power networks with high amount of integrated renewable energy sources (mainly photovoltaic systems). Together with technical aspects, will be presented the economical investigation of energy storages practicability compared with the concurrence solutions.

In the scope of this presentation will be given an overview about the main use cases of electrochemical energy storages (mainly lead-acid batteries and lithium-ion batteries) in the low voltage power networks with high amount of integrated renewable energy sources (mainly photovoltaic systems). Together with technical aspects, will be presented the economical investigation of energy storages practicability compared with the concurrence solutions (network expansion, feed-in management).
